The Forum in Bone and Mineral Research (FBMR) is an informal and multidisciplinary environment where scientists and clinicians meet to discuss the mechanisms of bone and mineral diseases and join efforts to develop new therapies.

FBMR gathers a lively scientific community with the prime mission to offer young researchers an open forum for sharing and discussing their science. Early-stage basic and clinical researchers (PhD students, post-doctoral and clinical fellows) are thus encouraged to join FBMR, whose membership of is free of charge.

In a yearly meeting, FBMR attracts internationally renowned scientists and keynote speakers in a friendly, informal atmosphere that fosters in-depth discussion, scientific exchange and cross-contamination.

FBMR acts in synergy with SIOMMMS (Italian society for osteoporosis and diseases of bone and mineral metabolism), whose annual conference hosts a joint FBMR-SIOMMMS symposium to facilitate innovative research efforts and collaborations between basic and clinical researchers.
